Law on Promissory Notes

No.1527-XII of 22.06.93

The Law stipulates definition, issue, circulation, payments and other issues related to promissory notes. Banks in Moldova may perform following operations with promissory notes:

to collect bills:
to discount bills;
to issue loans on bills’ security;
to issue guarantees under bills.
